Suresh's Melancholy

Suresh woke late by 9:14 AM. His phone alarm had failed three times because he unconsciously dismissed it in his sleep. He stared at the ceiling for several seconds before sitting up slowly. Outside his enormous rectangular window, the calm and peaceful garden outside glittered beneath pale morning sunlight. He seemed to be in a very good mood and finished his morning activities faster.  He had sensed that his dragon had returned and went to talk to him.  The corridors echoed. Most residents were away. The Dragon Master had dispatched nearly everyone across various universes during the past week. The nine young couples were scattered across missions. All the dragons were gone with their partners.  Even Nemo & Shadow-Blade are on some missions in Dragonesia. Only few remained here in The Citadel and that may change anytime as anyone can return at any time. As that’s the type of work the Dragon Warriors do. Whispers of the Castle Morning

Galadmir woke up as usual, his beloved still sleeping peacefully beside him. Without disturbing her, he slipped out of bed and headed to the bathroom to complete his morning routine. When he returned, she hadn’t stirred. Smiling softly, he decided to let her rest and stepped out into the hallway. He had no particular destination in mind. Being in the library always brought him peace of mind. Few things gave him more joy than sitting with a good book and earnest feeling to read it. He will immerse himself completely and time dissolved in those moments. Galadmir spent so m...

How Childhood Imagination Sparked My Writing Journey

I also have a personal blog, which you can check out below: eccentricme2.blog This separate blog is home to my literary explorations—stories, reflections, and fragments from my imagination. You see, ever since childhood, I’ve had this habit of “night dreaming.” It’s that quiet space between lying down and falling asleep, when the mind drifts freely. That’s when I slip into another world. What do I dream about? Adventures in alternate universes. I’m the hero there. I’ve imagined countless stories—filled with loyal friends, magical pets, and journeys across breathtaking landscapes. It’s a world where I’m strong, admired, and surrounded by connection. Why did I start doing this? As a child, I was often weak, odd, and alone. I longed to be someone others looked up to, someone with real friendships. These dreams gave me a space to live that life, even if only in my mind. I...
