How Childhood Imagination Sparked My Writing Journey
Hey all,
This is my first blog post on Blogger.com, and I’m genuinely excited to start sharing my writing journey here. I also have a personal blog, which you can check out below:
This separate blog is home to my literary explorations—stories, reflections, and fragments from my imagination. You see, ever since childhood, I’ve had this habit of “night dreaming.” It’s that quiet space between lying down and falling asleep, when the mind drifts freely. That’s when I slip into another world.
What do I dream about?
Adventures in alternate universes. I’m the hero there. I’ve imagined countless stories—filled with loyal friends, magical pets, and journeys across breathtaking landscapes. It’s a world where I’m strong, admired, and surrounded by connection.
Why did I start doing this?
As a child, I was often weak, odd, and alone. I longed to be someone others looked up to, someone with real friendships. These dreams gave me a space to live that life, even if only in my mind.
I believe I have potential, but sometimes I feel I’m not quite living up to it. Maybe through these blogs, I can create something meaningful—maybe even become someone I’ve always wanted to be.
It’s never too late to be what you might have been.” — George Eliot
I’ve never tried writing seriously before, so this is a new beginning for me.
So here we go—the start of my adventures. Some stories might be childish, some strange, but I hope you’ll bear with me. And if you spot any mistakes—literal or metaphorical—feel free to let me know.
